In this book Harry Palmer describes his route to the discoveries that form the basis of the Avatar course. A personal report of a quest for a meaningful existence, which eventually emerged in the wondrous simplicity that is often referred to as enlightenment.
In the second part of the book Harry translates his personal discoveries into insights about reality, and especially about the ways in which we are used to dealing with our own reality. He shows us that the limits of our consciousness are way beyond anything we ever thought possible.
The third and last part provides an overview of the content of sections II and III of the course and describes the road that Avatar has taken since the first course in 1987, and of the direction it will take further ahead. The goal - an enlightened planetary civilization!
